The excellent Becky Hindley opens tonight in the national tour of Northern Broadsides production of The Merry Wives, at the New Victoria Theatre, Newcastle Under Lyme. The show takes in The Viaduct, Hull Truck, The Lowry, The Rose, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Cheltenham Everyman, Stephen Joseph, Lawrence Batley, Yvonne Arnaud, York Theatre Royal, before finishing on Sat 28th May at Liverpool Playhouse……
A great start to the week as Becky Hindley starts rehearsals for ‘The Merry Wives’ with Northern Broadsides; Kash Ashad resumes touring ‘Somebody’s Sister, Somebody’s Daughter’ with GW Theatre; Simon Pontin jumps straight out of Aladdin and into rehearsals for a national tour of ‘End of the Rainbow’, and Emily Spowage starts rehearsals for a national tour of ‘Tadpoles’ with M6 Theatre Company……..
As we enter the final hours of 2015, we are looking forward to welcoming in 2016 and celebrating what has been a very busy and productive year…..
Elliot Sprakes can be seen in David Walliams’ ‘Billionaire Boy’ on New Year’s Day at 7pm on BBC One; Rhea Bailey continues her role as Caz Hammond in ‘Coronation Street’; Emma Ashton has been seen over the festive season in the McDonald’s Christmas ad, and will be seen in the feature ‘Lies we Tell’. Flo Wilson is appearing in the current Warner Leisure ad and will be seen in ‘In The Club’; John Draycott will be seen in ‘Fresh Meat’ and ‘Endeavour’; Emily Spowage begins a national tour of ‘Tadpoles’ with M6 Theatre Co, and Marcus Christopherson starts rehearsals for a local tour with M6. Stanley Cieka will be seen in the new series of ‘Home Fires’, Becky Hindley starts rehearsals followed by a national tour of The Merry Wives, with Northern Broadsides; Kash Ashad continues touring with GW Theatre; John Smeathers can be seen in the current Warner Leisure ad; Herica Neves, Anna Holton and Daisy Robinson will be appearing in Lucinda Coxon’s ‘What are they Like?’ at the Lowry; Sam Holland will be seen in ‘The Dumping Ground’; Simon Pontin continues in Aladdin at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester; Rachel Priest will be seen in ‘Measure for Measure’ at Lancaster Castle; Laura Wooff can be seen in ‘Keep The Cross High’ at the Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh and Amy Popplewell will be seen in the second series of ‘In The Club’.
